# The Best Yoga Headstand Benches Source: https://yogastudionest.com/best/best-yoga-headstand-benches Updated: 2026-10-20 Publisher: Yoga Studio Nest. Our score is an editorial rating out of 10 (fit 35%, features 25%, build 20%, value 20%), not a customer rating. Method: https://yogastudionest.com/how-we-research#our-score Inversions are one of the hardest things to learn alone at home, and the main worry is the neck. A headstand bench solves that by resting your shoulders on a padded platform with your head hanging free through a gap, so the cervical spine carries no weight while you find your balance upside down. Benches vary in frame material and rated load, padding depth and firmness, platform height, and how much floor stability the base provides. We put frame rigidity and stability first, since any wobble is amplified when you are inverted, then shoulder padding comfort, weight capacity, and how easily each bench stores between sessions. These picks suit practitioners who want inversions without loading the neck, people building toward freestanding headstands, and anyone told to keep pressure off the cervical spine who still wants to go upside down. Practice near a wall while you learn; the bench helps balance, it does not remove the learning curve. ## Picks ### 1.
