What we liked
- + TPE backing avoids natural rubber, a plus for latex-sensitive users
- + 5mm thickness gives more padding than many thin cork mats
- + Gaiam's wide retail presence makes it an easy first cork mat to try
Trade-offs
- - 68 inch length may feel short for tall practitioners
- - TPE backing is usually less durable than a natural rubber base
